FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH RIVERKEEPER AND UNION OF CONCERNED SCIENTISTS (UCS) RE: 10 CFR 2.206 PETITION ON INDIAN POINT UNITS 2 AND 3 DATE & TIME: Wednesday, September 24, 2003 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-9B4 Rockville, Maryland 20852 PURPOSE: A 10 CFR 2.206 Petition was submitted by letter dated September 8, 2003, from Riverkeeper and UCS. This petition requests the NRC take enforcement actions against Entergy, and suspend the license/preclude plant restart until certain conditions have been met. The purpose of this meeting is to allow the petitioners to provide any relevant additional explanation and support for the petition requests (see attached agenda).

CATEGORY*: This is a Category 3 meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by providing comments and asking questions throughout the meeting.

PARTICIPANTS: Participants from the NRC, representatives from Riverkeeper and UCS (collectively, the Petitioners), and representatives from Entergy.
