Oyster Creek submittals dated 8/1/02 and 6/23/03 Our contractor has the following questions on Relief Request OC-02-01:

1) Please confirm that you will continue to perform all volumetric examinations required by ASME XI, BWRVIP, or any other augmented program at Oyster Creek for the subject piping systems.

2) Confirm that Relief Request OC-02-01 pertains to B-J, Item B9.10 and C-F-1, Item C5.10 only.

3) Will you commit to performing a visual VT-1 on the OD surface of these piping welds at the time of the scheduled volumetric examinations?

Please call my backup, Tim Colburn (301-415-1402) to set up a conference call with our reviewer George Georgieiev and contractor Mike Anderson during the week of 8/24/03. I apologize for the urgency, but we believe these questions are of a clarifying nature, and we must complete this review and issue the reliefs before 9/1/03.
