ORGANIZATION CHANGES AFFECTING NEW REACTOR LICENSING ACTIVITIES IN THE OFFICE OF NUCLEAR REACTOR REGULATION (NRR)
Dear Addressees:
This letter is to inform you of recent changes affecting new reactor licensing activities in NRR.
Effective June 29, 2003, the Associate Directorate for Inspection and Programs (ADIP) was reorganized, and with the new organization, the new reactor licensing activities were moved to the New Reactors section within the New, Research and Test Reactors Program (RNRP) within the Division of Regulatory Improvement Programs. The new organization provides additional internal infrastructure support to the program and does not affect the high priority given to the new reactor licensing activities.
In addition, Ms. Laura Dudes will be assuming the position of Section Chief of the New Reactors section effective August 11, 2003, replacing Ms. Marsha Gamberoni. If you have any questions about the new organization, please contact me at (301) 415-1126.
