Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter serves as notification, as required by 10 CFR 72.140(d), that Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) intends to apply its previously approved 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Quality Assurance Program to activities involving storage of spent fuel at the independent spent fuel storage installations (ISFSls) being constructed at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) and River Bend Station (RBS). The Entergy Quality Assurance Program Manual (QAPM), which is used at all Entergy facilities, was originally submitted to the NRC for approval under the docket numbers for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2 (50-313 and 50-368), GGNS (50-416), RBS (50-458), and Waterford Steam Electric' Station, Unit 3 '(50-382) via Reference
- 1 on April 30, 1998. The NRC approved the QAPM, as' documented in Refeence #2, 'on November 6, 1998.
Entergy subrmitted Revisi6n 8 of the' QAPM on April 24, 2003 via Reference #3.
