OF THE JANUARY 30, 2003, PUBLIC MEETINGS TO DISCUSS FIRSTENERGYS PLANS TO ADDRESS SAFETY CONSCIOUS WORK ENVIRONMENT On January 30, 2003, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a public meeting at the NRC Region III office in Lisle, Illinois. The meeting was between the NRC Davis-Besse Oversight Panel and FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) to discuss the licensees plans to address safety conscious work environment. The meeting notice, agenda and transcript can be found in ADAMS as ML030280685, ML030280645 and ML030580657; respectively. A list of NRC and licensee meeting participants can be found in Enclosure 1.

The licensees presentation can be found in ADAMS as ML030360238. In addition, the licensee provided several documents to the NRC during the meeting. These documents are attached as enclosures 2, 3, and 4.
