SUMMARY
OF TELEPHONE CALL REGARDING REQUEST FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT: EMERGENCY DIESEL GENERATOR LOCKOUT RELAYS FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-57 DOCKET NO. 50-354 By letter dated December 31, 2002 (LRN-02-0439) PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) provided a summary of a telephone call between PSEG and NRC staff, regarding our license amendment request dated December 17, 2002 for Hope Creek Generating Station Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) lockout relay testing. Because the information contained in the December 31, 2002 letter is relevant to our request for license amendment, it should have included an oath or affirmation consistent with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) Office Letter LIC-1 01 Revision 2, "License Amendment Review Procedures." As requested by Mr. George Wunder of NRR, attached is an affidavit attesting the accuracy of our December 31, 2002 letter.
