SUBJECT:

SEABROOK STATION, UNIT NO. 1 - CORRECTED PAGE FOR FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE AND ORIGINAL COPIES OF INDEMNITY AGREEMENTS (TAC NO. MB6497)

Dear Mr. Warner:

On November 1, 2002, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a conforming amendment to the Facility Operating License No. NPF-86 for the Seabrook Station, Unit No. 1.

The conforming amendment made changes to the Facility Operating License in response to your application dated May 17, 2002, which requested approval of the transfer of the license for Seabrook Station, Unit No. 1, to the extent held by North Atlantic Energy Service Corporation (NAESCO), and certain co-owners of the facility, on whose behalf NAESCO was also acting, to FPL Energy Seabrook, LLC (FPLE Seabrook).

The Seabrook Station Facility Operating License, Amendment No. 86, which was an enclosure to the conforming amendment letter, contained an error. We failed to insert a technical specification number on page 3 of the Facility Operating License, paragraph 2.C.(2), Technical Specifications. Enclosed is the corrected page 3 of the Facility Operating License. Also, enclosed are the 13 original copies of the Indemnity Agreements, which we neglected to enclose with the conforming amendment letter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely,

/RA/
