MEETING WITH PROGRESS ENERGY TO DISCUSS CHANGES TO THE CRYSTAL RIVER UNIT 3 FUEL DESIGN PLANNED FOR THE NEXT CYCLE DATE & TIME: Thursday, October 3, 2002 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-8B4 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The meeting will involve Framatome and will discuss Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) fuel design specific license amendments and a request for review of a Framatome topical report on cycle reload analyses that is referenced in the CR-3 Core Operating Limit Report.

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

PARTICIPANTS:* Participants from the NRC include members of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR).
