SUMMARY
OF THE JULY 16, 2002, PUBLIC MEETINGS TO DISCUSS THE IMC 0350 PROCESS AT DAVIS-BESSE On July 16, 2002, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held two public meetings at the Oak Harbor High School in Oak Harbor, Ohio. The first meeting was between the NRC IMC 0350 Oversight Panel and FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) to discuss the licensees restart plan for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. The agenda, meeting notice, transcript and the FENOC presentation can be found in ADAMS as ML022040728, ML0218906990, ML022200663, and ML022060574. A list of NRC and licensee meeting participants can be found in Enclosure 1.
The second meeting was between the NRC and members of the public. During the meeting, the NRC summarized the discussion from the earlier meeting between the NRC and FENOC.
A public question and answer session followed the summary. The agenda, meeting notice, and transcript can be found in ADAMS as ML021890700, ML0218907001, and ML022320213.
