NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT NO. 1 - SECOND REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION, SECTION 6.0 (TAC NO. MB2441)
Dear Mr. Conway:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is reviewing the subject proposed amendment requested by your letter dated October 26, 2001. The NRC staff issued a request for additional information (RAI) on April 4, 2002. You responded by letter on June 7, 2002. On August 22, 2002, the NRC staff discussed by telephone with Mr. S. Leonard, et al., of your staff, draft questions previously transmitted by e-mail. The e-mail is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System under Accession No. ML022210090. As a result of the discussion, the NRC staff formalized, by reference, the questions described in that e-mail.
