Pending Actions Requested by Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) recently issued an order transferring the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station (VY) license from Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation (VYNPC) to Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC as the owner of VY, and to Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc (ENO) as the entity to maintain and operate VY (Reference a). As a result, ENO requests that the NRC transfer outstanding applications and other initiatives submitted by VYNPC for the VY station to ENO.
ENO also requests that activities and correspondence concerning VY reflect the transfer of this license.
A number of issues and requests associated with the operating license were pending with the NRC at the time of the license transfer.
ENO hereby adopts and endorses the outstanding requests made by VYNPC for VY prior to the license transfer.
