OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION - JULY 28, 2000, MEETING ON CONTROL ROOM HABITABILITY (TAC NO. MA3465)
REFERENCE:
Meeting notice by H. N. Pastis, July 13, 2000 On July 28, 2000, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff met with representatives from GPU Nuclear, Inc. (GPUN), the then licensee for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS), to discuss the status of the pilot program on source term evaluation for OCNGS. I found that no meeting summary was published by the NRC staff after that meeting.
Accordingly, the sole purpose of this memorandum is to enter the attached participants sign-up sheet and GPUNs presentation slides into the official NRC records system and make them publicly available. Even though no record was made of the actual discussion in that meeting, GPUNs slides and a January 12, 2001, letter from AmerGen (the current OCNGS licensee) together provide a general depiction of the transactions of that meeting.
