Dear Mr. Young:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has received your letter dated September 28, 2001, providing clarifications to the Safety Evaluation (SE) to License Amendment No. 198 for Crystal River Unit 3. The NRC staff has reviewed the letter, and agrees with the clarifications, but no change to the SE is required.
