3 [1:25 p.m.] P R O C E E D I N G S CHAIRMAN JACZKO: Good afternoon. We will start with two affirmation items. MS. VIETTI-COOK: The first item is on Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station and Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to petitions for review of LBP-08-22 and LBP-08-25 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order, which acknowledges the Commonwealth's concerns, explains how the Commission will address them, and finds the formal relief requested by the Commonwealth unnecessary.

COMMISSIONER SVINICKI: Aye.

MS. VIETTI-COOK. The second item is on Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to a petition for review filed by intervenor Pilgrim Watch of several Atomic Safety and Licensing Board decisions.

The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order which requests additional briefing on one issue and establishes a briefing schedule. Would you please affirm your votes?
