SELECT SYSTEM REVIEW MARCH 1988 PROGRESS Desi Basis Reconstitutio Work continues on a
risk based assessment of historic Plant Changes/Modifications.
Reconstitution of design bases for Area Radiation Monitoring, Process Radiation Monitoring and Normal Containment Cooling (scoped to include the Normal Containment Coolers and CRDM Coolers) continues in accordance with the Integrated Schedule.
Design Basis Verification activities for the original fifteen Select Systems continue in accordance with the Integrated Schedule.
Safe En neerin Grou SEG The SEG has commenced review of the Area Radiation Monitoring, Process Radiation Monitoring and Normal Containment Cooling Systems to identify those items appropriate for punchlisting and further review and action.
Walkdowns Preparations have been initiated to perform Small Bore Piping and Tubing and P&ID walkdowns of outside containment 'portions of the Area Radiation Monitoring, Process Radiation Monitoring and Normal Containment Cooling systems.
These activities will proceed in accordance with the Integrated Schedule.
Other si ificant ro ress Evaluated Containment Spray (CS) valves for internal leakage with no unsatisfactory findings Reviewed CS System industry experience with no generic issues identified Replaced CS Pump Discharge Drain Valve 942W-U4 Evaluated need for replacing blind flanges on CS test valve and found to not be necessary Completed Appendix R valve operator modifications on Residual Heat Removal (RHR) System Removed Safety In]ection (SI) accumulator relief valve isolation valves Overhauled SI valves CV-850 E&F Worked various SI valves to correct seat leakage
