SELECT SYSTEM REVIEW OCTOBER 1987 PROGRESS Safet Fn ineerin Grou SEG Review The SEG Unit 3 closeout report is on schedule for issuance by November 11,'987.
Confi ration Mana ement Revisions to the affected drawings resulting from implementation of Select System modifications during the Unit 3
Refueling Outage are scheduled for completion by January 11, 1988.
Other Si ificant Pro ress Closed various (approximately fifty) Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) on the Component Cooling Water (CCW) System (details available on request)
Completed review of emergency bus control logic per SOER 81-10.
Recommendations will be incorporated into Emergency Diesel Generator Upgrade Project Implemented revised criteria for CCW heat exchanger operability based on measure fouling rates Installed valves to facilitate cleaning of Intake Cooling Water (ICW) basket strainers Completed various ICW maintenance items and NCRs (details available on request)
Upgraded Main Steam Isolation Valves (MSIV) maintenance procedures to perform fail safe testing Overhauled MSIV actuators Developed Refueling Water Storage Tank (RWST) level curves to accommodate existing instrumentation Issued Battery load profiles as a controlled document.
Revised various Vital Power procedures (details available on request)
