Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 IE Bulletin 83-06 Our letter L-84-259 dated September 28, 1984 provided additional information to supplement our response to IE Bulletin 83-06 (Non-Conforming Materials Supplied by Tube-Line Corporation, etc.). The purpose of this letter is to provide additional information on Tube-Line material at Turkey Point Units 3 and 4.
Samples of the Tube-Line material supplied by Gulfalloy on Purchase Order 38497-39056C were sent out for testing as described in our previous correspondence.
The results of the test have been received and are being reviewed by our engineering department. A report on this material will be submitted by December 15, 1984.
The Tube-Line material supplied by Gulfalloy on Purchase Order 38497-24503C has been documented on a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and has been forwarded to our engineering department for disposition. A list of the material involved is attached. An interim report on this material will be submitted by December 15, 1984.
We are continuing to review all documentation on materials received from Gulfalloy to determine the manufacturer of the components.
To date, no additional Tube-Line material has been discovered. This review is now expected to be completed and a report submitted by January 4,1985.
