Dear Mr. Clark:

St. Lucie Unit 1
Docket No. 50-335 Secondar Water Chemistr Monitorin Your letter dated March 1, 1982 requested information concerning details of the St. Lucie Unit 1 secondary water. chemistry monitoring program.
The letter also notes. that the secondary water-chemistry program for St. Lucie Unit 2 has been reviewed and found acceptable.
Both uni ts at St. Lucie will be operated using a single, water chemistry manual and the analytical procedures will be the same for both units.
If it should happen that separate procedures for system chemistry control are issued, the same philosophy. and action statements. will be incorporated in both and only minor nomenclature changes (i.e. Unit ¹1 vs. Unit ¹2) will exist.
In summary, the St. Lucie Unit 2 program which has been previously approved is virtually identical to that used for St. Lucie 1, and it is our opinion that further transfer of detailed data is unnecessary.
Our implementing procedures are available on site for your review.
Very truly yours, Robert E. Uhrig Vice President Advanced Systems 8 Technology REU/JEM/ras cc:
