Docket No. 50-389 Linear Indication In Reactor Coolant cgh Pipe Weld On June 24, 1981, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) notified the 1

Region II Office of Inspection and Enforcement, in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e),0f a potential deficiency regarding a linear indication observed in a reactor coolant system piping weld.

The weld in question has been repaired.

FPL is still reviewing this problem to confirm whether it is a reportable deficiency under the l

regulations. A final report will be submitted by August 24, 1981.
