Dear Mr. Reyes:

Re:

Turkey Point Unit 3 Docket No. 50-250 Steam Generator Tube Pluaainq 15-Day Report In accordance with Turkey Point Technical Specification 4.4.5.5.a, the subject Special Report is submitted pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2 for Turkey Point Unit 3, as a result of the End of Cycle 19 inservice inspection of steam generator tubes.

The Turkey Point Unit 3 steam generators were inspected from March 9, 2003, through March 13, 2003. A total of 3 tubes were plugged as a result of this examination. One tube was preventively plugged in steam generator SA, based on a manufacturing indication that was determined to be present on the preservice inspection. Two tubes were plugged in steam generator 3B. One tube in steam generator 3B was preventively plugged due to mechanical wear at an anti-vibration bar in the u-bend region. The second tube would not permit inspection by Plus Point technique in the u-bend region due to a restriction, and was preventively plugged.

There were no tubes plugged in steam generator 3C.
