In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p), Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) hereby submits version 16 of the FNP Security Plan, FNP-0-M-99. SNC has reviewed the changes made for version 16 and has determined that this version does not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the FNP Security Plan. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4), the signed original and three copies of the FNP Security Plan are being sent to the Document Control Desk, and two copies are being sent to the Region II office.
Attachment 1 provides a summary of the version 16 changes and the amended pages, while Attachment 2 provides the page removal and insertion instructions. Attachment 1 contains safeguards information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21. Attachment 2 does not contain safeguards information.
This letter contains no NRC commitments. If you have any questions, please advise.
