NOTICE OF VIOLATION (NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-461/98009(DRS)

Dear Mr. MacFarland:
This will acknowledge receipt of your letter dated August 5,1998, in response to our letter dated July 7,1998, transmitting a Notice of Violation associated with three Emergency Preparedness violations: untimely Emergency Response Data System activation; lack of Emergency Response Organization (ERO) staffing; and not having ERO access badges at the Clinton Power Station. We have reviewed your corrective actions and have no further questions at this time. These corrective actions will be examined during future inspections.
