DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER NRC EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS ANNUAL INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000331/2010501

Dear Mr. Costanzo:

On December 31, 2010, the NRC staff completed its annual inspection of the Emergency Preparedness Program at the Duane Arnold Energy Center. This inspection began on January 1, 2010. Issuance of this letter closes Inspection Report Number 2010501. Some of the time NRC expended during routine Emergency Preparedness Program reviews was charged to these report numbers. Any observations and findings in these areas were provided to you via separate correspondence.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC=s ARules of Practice,@ a copy of this letter, and your response, if any, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records System (PARS) component of NRC's Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
