Subject: Inspection 50-320/82-01 This refers to your letter dated May 7,1982, in response to our letter dated April 1,1982.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented in your letter. These actions will be examined during a future inspect 1 7f your licensed progran.

Regarding your response to Item B, you stated that there was an oversight on
the part of personnel involved with the development and review of the job l
package to identify and account for system interfacing. You also indicated that I
the system interfacing review has been a responsibility of individuals, but
you did not identify where that responsibility was delineated.

Based on a telephone conversation on May 27, 1982, between Mr. R. Conte of our office and Messrs. G. Atchinson and S. Chaplin of your staff, we understand that responsibility is a part of personnel dob descriptions and that this is reiterated in Standing Order of Memorandum (SON) No.18, dated May 17, 1982, (GA-82-0177), Planning and Perforsence of Nintenance Work. Further, we

understand that the generic intent of SOM 18 will be incorporated into facility

procedures dealing with maintenance planning and devel >pment. On May 27,1982, our inspector verified that the content of SOM 18 was mnsistent with your response.
If these understandings are not correct, please inform as within ten (10) days.
