Regulatory Operations organization and inspection objectives and methods related to preoperational and initial startop testing programs were discussed with the licensee.

Summary of Items Discussed The meeting was opened by C. E. Murphy, Chief, Facilities Test and Startup Branch, Region II, with an explanation of the purpose of the - meeting. He explained the organization of Regulatory Operations and Region II.
Murphy discussed the major phases of the Facilities Test and Startup Branch (FT&SB) inspection efforts and the manner in which inspections are conducted.
Jape further discussed FI&SB inspection efforts and informed the licensee representatives of what Regulatory Operations inspectors use for guidance in reviewing tests and operating.
