EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Dresden Nuclear Power Station NRC Inspection Reports 50-010/99007; 50-237/99007; 50-249/99007 This inspection reviewed plant support activities relating to the physical protection of the Dresden facility. The report evaluated security activities related to alarm stations, communications, testing and maintenance, protected area detection and assessment aids, personnel search equipment, security program plans, response capabilities, security training and qualification activities, and follow up of previous inspection findings.
- Personnel errors by two alarm station operators resulted in the inadvertent inactivation of a perimeter intrusion alarm zone with no compensatory measure being established in a timely manner. Adequate corrective action was implemented. This was considered a licensee identified non-cited violation. (Section S2.2)
