Dear Mr. Barnos:

i This letter and the enclosed NRC Form 591 refer to the routine, unannounced inspection conducted by Mr. Robert A Brown of this office on August 19,1997,. The inspection -

included a review of activities conducted in areas under NRC jurisdiction as authorized -

under the general license pursuant to 10 CFR 150.20 and the conditions of Texas Radioactive Material License L 04590.

Within the scope of this inspection no violations or deviations were identified; therefore, no i

response to this letter or the enclosed NRC Form 591 is required.-
