The Supply System believes this report in conjunction with the iden-tified actions therein closes the technical issues related to the SSM.
This report will be referenced in the MNP-2 FSAR and supplements pre-viously submitted licensing documents to technically justify the as-built condition of the SSW.
This report is considered to be the instrument used to obtain NRC Region V concurrence to proceed with construction on the SSM.
In parallel, this report has been submitted to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
The report in conjunction with the forthcoming August 6, 1980 meeting, provides sufficient information to them to allow NRR approval of the proposed replacement weld at elevation.

Conclusions drawn in several specific concerns relative to nonconformances having no structural significance are not intended to reflect an unconcerned attitude by the Supply System for the importance that the related Code or equality Assurance-requirements have or for corrective actions necessary to prevent similar reoccurrences.
