Engineering Eval-uation of the WNP-2 Sacrificial Shield Wall Supple-ment No. 2" Reference (a) transmitted to the Office of Inspection and Enforcement
( I8E) a report entitled "Engineering Evaluation of the WNP-2 Sacrificial Shield Mall."
Reference (b) transmitted Supplement No.
1 to the subject report, addressing 18E concerns and questions on the overall evaluation of the sacrificial shield wall.
Reference (c) transmitted Supplement No.
2 to the subject report providing information regarding deviations from the original girth weld plan, a discussion of deficiencies identified during preparation of the girth weld joint, and revised tables.
The purpose of this letter is to transmit Supplement No.
3 which closes all previous items and provides a discussion of work performed to complete the programs previously outlined in the original report.
Additional deficiencies that have been identified and repaired since sub-mittal of Reference (a) do not fall outside the bounding assumptions made in the original SSW evaluation, nor do they invalidate the conclusions, with respect to the integrity of the
- SSW, made in that original evaluation.

Any future nonconforming conditions pertaining to the sacrificial shield wall will be dispositioned using normal project procedures and will be available for review by the NRC Resident Inspector as necessary.
