This event notification is being made per the requirements of 10CFR70 Appendix A (c) concurrent reports.
Framatome's Washington State Department of Health Radioactive Air Emissions License requires Framatome to notify WDOH of any time an exhaust fan is shutdown for more than 4 hours4.62963e-5 days <br />0.00111 hours <br />6.613757e-6 weeks <br />1.522e-6 months <br />.
On 12/26/2024, at about 1615 PST, the specialty fuels furnace addition exhaust fans shut down due to an electrical breaker tripping.
No processes were operating and no work was being performed in the building when the fans shut down.
The power to the main breaker has been shut off and tagged out of service pending investigation into the cause of the breaker trip that shut down the exhaust fans. The main breaker panel will remain shut off until power can be safely restored to it.
The licensee notified the NRC fuel cycle project manager via voicemail.
