PG&E Letter DCL-14-090, "Licensee Event Report 2014-002-00, Unit 2 Plant Shutdown Required by Technical Specifications," dated October 14, 2014.
Dear Commissioners and Staff:
In the above reference, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) submitted a Licensee Event Report (LER) for Unit 2 regarding a Shutdown Required by Technical Specifications performed as a result of two inoperable emergency diesel generators. In the referenced letter, PG&E indicated that it would provide an LER supplement by January 29, 2014, which would include the results of the associated cause evaluation.
PG&E is still performing detailed analysis necessary to complete the evaluation of past operability. Based on the current plan for completion, PG&E will submit the LER supplement no later than April 30, 2015.
PG&E makes no new or revised regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
Sincerely, d;;;~
