Change to Byron Station Operator Licensing Examination 2011 Dates In a January 4, 2010 conversation with Mr. Gregg Smith, Senior Operations Training Instructor at Byron Station, a request to reschedule the current 2011 Byron Station Initial Operator License Examination dates was confirmed.
Per response to RIS 2008-16 NRC Form 536 submitted in Exelon Generation Company letter RS-08-092 dated July 22, 2008 and subsequent Byron Letter 2009-0029 dated March 11, 2009, the current dates were provided. Proposed revised dates are shown below.
Current Date Weeks of Sept. 26 and Oct 3, 2011 (12 candidates)
Proposed Date Weeks of January 16 and 23, 2012 (12 candidates)
Additionally, to complete the alignment for future NRC Exam dates, Byron Station is further requesting consideration for the following future exam date changes originally submitted in response to RIS 2009-11 in Exelon Generation Company letter RS-09-1 09 dated August 13, 2009.

Weeks of Sept. 23 and Sept. 30, 2013 (6 RO, 6 SRO, 1 SRO Upgrade)
Proposed Dates Week of January 14, 2013 (6 SRO candidates)
Weeks of Jan. 13 and Jan 20,2014 (6 RO, 6 SRO, 1 SRO Upgrade)
