Jason Martinez,.CPCU, ARM, ARe Director, underwriting Re: Northstar Vermont Yankee, LLC and Northstar Nuclear Decommissioning Company, UC NRC Operating License Trans/er for Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station To Whom It May Concern, This letter confirms that American Nuclear Insurers will write nuclear liability insurance for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station, located in Vernon, VT, upon the transfer of the NRC operating license from Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. to NorthStar Vermont Yankee, LLC and Northstar Nuclear Decommissioning Company, LLC.
Effective as of the transaction close date, which is expected to be on or before October 31, 2018, ANI wilramend the below policy and certificate for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station as follows:
- a. Facility Form Policy No. NF *0189: ANI will amend the named insured to "Northstar Vermont-Yankee, LLC and Northstar Nuclear Decommissioning Company, LLC" in lieu of "Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc."
Additionally, ANI will amend the operator of the facility to "Northstar Nuclear Decommissioning Company, LLC" in lieu of "Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc."
- b. Master Worker Certificate No. NW *0574: ANI will amend the named insureds to
- "Northstar Ve'rmont Yankee, LLC and Northstar Nuclear Decommissioning Company, LLC" in lieu of "Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc." Additionallv, ANI wm amend the operator of the facility to "Northstar Nuclear Decommissioning Company, LLC" in lieu of "Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc."
The commitment to write insurance for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station remains valid thru January 15, 2019. In the event the closing of the transaction occurs after this date, ANI will review the existing circumstances prior to reinstating our commitment to provide insurance.

This le1:ten:onfirms that Nuclear Electric trisurance Limited will write nuclear property insurance for Northstar Vermont Yankee, LLC as the owner of 100% of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant. A Primary Property and Decontamination Liability Policy will be effective upon close of the transfer of the facility license to own the plant from Entergy Nucte.ar Vermont Yankee, LLC.
The combi.ned limits on the above referenced policy will satisfy the NRC required minimum property insurance limit of
$50 million for this site.
This comillitmentto write nuclear property insurance for Northstar Vermont VankE!E!, LLC remains valid through March 31, 2019. If the a:;set transfer takes place after that date, we will review the circumstances before re-stating our commitment.
