In your acknowledgement of our response to the Notice of Violation identified in hTC Inspection Report Nos. 50-325/88-06 and 50-324/88-06 dated April 25, 1988, a commitment was identified to provide by May 3, 1988, a copy of the Engineering Evaluation Report (EER) which established numerical limits for abnormal or erratic data (stroke times). A follow-up telephone conversation between Mr. J. J. Blake (of your staff) and Mr. R. M. Poulk, Jr., on May 3, 1988, concluded that submittal of the EER by May 13,1988, wot.1d be suf ficient.
This additional time is to allow clarification from the ASME Code Committee on issues addressed by this EER.
