LIMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION i

3.4.6.1 The following Reactor Coolant System Leakage Detection l

Systems shall be OPERABLE:

a.

Either the Containment Atmosphere Gaseous or particulate Radioactivity Monitoring System, and b.

The Containment Drain Sump Level or Pumped Capaci-ty Monitoring System l

APPLICABILITY: MODES 1, 2,

3, and 4 l

ACTION:

With both the Containment Atmosphere Gaseous and

Particulate Radioactivity Monitors INOPERABLE, opera-tion may continue for up to 30 days provided the Containment Drain Sump Level or Pumped Capacity Moni-toring System is OPERABLE and gaseous grab samples of the containment atmosphere are obtained at least once per 12 hours1.388889e-4 days <br />0.00333 hours <br />1.984127e-5 weeks <br />4.566e-6 months <br /> and analyzed for gross noble gas activity within the subsequent 2 hours2.314815e-5 days <br />5.555556e-4 hours <br />3.306878e-6 weeks <br />7.61e-7 months <br />; otherwise, be in at least HOT STANDBY within the next 6 hours6.944444e-5 days <br />0.00167 hours <br />9.920635e-6 weeks <br />2.283e-6 months <br /> and in COLD l

SURVEILLANCE REOUIREMENTS l

4.4.6.1 The Leakage Detection Systems shall be demonstrated OPERABLE by:

Containment Atmosphere Gaseous and Particulate Radioac-tivity Monitoring Systems-performance of CHANNEL CHECK, j

l CHANNEL CALIBRATION, and ANALOG CHANNEL OPERATIONAL l

TEST at the frequencies specified in Table 4.3-3, and j

i b.

Containment Drain Sump Level and Pumped Capacity Monitoring System-performance of CHANNEL CALIBRATION at i

least once per 18 months.
