Crystal River Unit 3 to NRC letter, 3F0108-14, dated January 22, 2008, "Crystal River Unit 3 - License Amendment Request #298, Revision 0: Application to Modify Improved Technical Specifications for Replacement Steam Generators"
Dear Sir:
Florida Power Corporation, doing business as Progress Energy Florida, Inc., hereby withdraws the referenced License Amendment Request (LAR) in its entirety, including the regulatory commitment contained in that letter. Crystal River Unit 3 plans to resubmit this LAR under a new identification number when calculations have been completed which validate the 40% tube plugging criterion.
