ASME SECTION XI INSERVICE INSPECTION TEN YEAR (NDE) PROGRAM MANUAL
Reference:
FPC to NRC letter number 3F0397-12, dated March 13,1997 Extension of Inservice Inspection / Inservice Testing Second Interval Dear Sir-Florida Power Corporation (FPC) is hereby submitting the Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3) Ten Year (NDE) Inservice Inspection Program Manual for the third inspection interval. The Manual has been updated to meet the requirements of the 1989 Edition of the American SocNty of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel (B&PV) Code, in accordance with ASME Section XI, Article IWA-2400, except where specific relief from the Code has been requested by FPC, pursuant to 10CFR50.55a(3). The second ten year inspection interval at Crystal River Unit 3 will end on August 13,1998, and the third ten year inspection interval will begin on August 14,1998.
ASME Code Cases approved by the NRC as identified in Regulatory Guide 1.147, which are applicable to CR-3, and the specific Relief Requests are identified in the Manual.
