Dear Sir or Madam:
In accordance with the above reference Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) committed to inform the NRC of the final plans for disposition of the fibrous insulation that was discovered between the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1 (ANO-1) pressurizer and its restraint/support beams by March 24, 2013. Entergy plans to remove the insulation during the upcoming ANO-1 refueling outage (1R24); if conditions do not support complete removal, then Entergy will document the acceptability of the as-left condition.
This letter contains a new regulatory commitment, which is identified in the attachment.
