No findings of significance were identified. However, during a refueling outage on April 22, 2007, the licensee used a remote video camera to visually inspect the two suction lines between the
ECCS sump and
RHR pumps A and B. Inspection of the first line revealed a piece of wire approximately 30 inches long, and inspection of the second line revealed a stainless steel insulation band and other smaller items of metallic debris. These items were immediately removed. The licensee has not completed their engineering evaluations at the end of the inspection period. The inspectors determined that additional inspections are required to determine whether and to what extent the subject debris could have affected safety functions during a postulated event that includes recirculation flow from the
ECCS sump. Therefore, this issue is identified as
