Potential Preconditioning of Turbine Driven Auxiliary Feedwater Surveillance Testing

Description

The NRC identified a Green non-cited violation (NCV) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion XI, Test Control, because Exelon established unevaluated preconditioning, with a reasonable doubt of whether the preconditioning was acceptable, prior to testing of the turbine driven auxiliary feedwater pump. This results in the loss of as-found conditions which challenge the capability of the test to assure that the turbine driven auxiliary feedwater pump will perform satisfactorily in service.
