and ME7159) By letter dated September 20,2011, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) submitted a request for amendments to the operating licenses (OLs) of Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2; Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 (DBNPS); and Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No. 1 (PNPP) (Accession Number ML112640246). The proposed amendments are administrative in nature and will revise the licenses to reflect the name change of an owner licensee from "FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corp." to "FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC." The proposed amendments will also correct errors regarding the name of FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corp. in the DBNPS and PNPP OLs. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval was originally requested by December 15,2011. FirstEnergy Corp. has subsequently determined the date for the conversion of FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corp. to FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC to be October 1,2012. Therefore, FENOC requests NRC approval of the license amendment on October 1,2012 with the amendments being implemented within 120 days of approval.
