( IBEW) LOCAL 1245 By letter dated March 13, 1990, as supplemented by letter dated May 25, 1990, you submitted an exemption request related to the Commission's random drug testing program (10 CFR 26.24(a)(2)) for members of the IBEW, Local 1245, at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.

After careful review, the NRC has concluded that your request cannot be approved.

We have provided the reasons for our conclusion in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
