Subject:
NRC Examinations at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station On January, 11-15 and 25-29, 1988, the NRC administered examinations to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to operate your Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant.
As a result of these examinations, 7 Senior Reactor Operator and 9 Reactor Operator candidates were found to meet the minimum qualification requirements for licensing.
At the conclusion of the examinations on January 29, 1988, the examination process and preliminary findings were discussed with members of your staff as detailed in the enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and enclosures (1),
(2), (3), (4), and (6) will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
Enclosure (5) is Personal Privacy Information and will be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6).
