Description of Event

While performing Perodic Test 26.1 the Air Ejector Radiation Monitor Alarm Setpoint was found to be higher than allowed by Technical Specificatio~

3.7.E Table 3.7.5.

This is reportable as per Technical specification 6.6.2.b.(4.

Probaole Consequences and Status of Redundant Systems:

The Air Ejectors for Unit two were not in service, therefore, there was no release and the health and safety of the public were not affected.

3.

Cause

The high alarm setpoint was caused by instrument drift in the Radiation Honitor (RM-SV-211).

4.

Immediate Corrective Action

Recalibrated Tuigh Alarm Setpoint.

5. Subsequent Corrective Action:

None required

6. Actions Taken to Prevent Recurrance No further action required.

The Periodic Testing program is designed to lo:~::-=.

this type of failure.
