During the August review of the Nevada program, you asked for data on special nuclear material (SNM) shipments to the Beatty site through 1976.
Summary tables were sent earlier.
The bugs in the computer search have been worked out at last and a report of SNM shipments reported for the period January 1, 1970 through December 31, 1976 is enclosed.
The survey covered 1968 and 1969 but no data were in the system for these years.
Earlier years are not in the system.
No shipments were reported as sent or received for 1976.
I hope these safeguards data are a useful crosscheck.
The yearly totals are

consistently higher than the values in the summary tables sent earlier.
l The only explanation I can offer is the problem of total package weight versus contained SNM weight.
Some variation would be expected due to lag time in processing papers also.
