NRC INSPECTION OF SAN ONOFRE UNITS 1, 2 AND 3

This letter refers to the special inspection conducted by Messrs. i.. C.

Carson 11 and H. D. Chaney of this office on October 9 through 12, 1990 of.

activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-13, NPF-10 and NPF-15, and to

the findings discussed with Mr. H. E. Morgan and other members of your staff

at the conclusion of the inspection.

The inspection was conducted to review allegations related to radiation

protection activities. Areas examined during this inspection are described

in the enclosed inspection report. Within'these areas, ti

inspection'

consisted of seice.tive examinations of prot ?dures and represe ntative records,

interviews with N rsonnel, and observations by the inspectors.

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the inspection.
