VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT 1 RESPONSE TO NRC BULLETIN 88 08 THERMAL STRESSES IN PIPING CONNECTED.
REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEMS in our letter dated December 4,1990 (Serial No. 88 433D), we indicated that noncestructive examinations would be performed on auxiliary spray line (4" CH A14-1502-Q1) during the 1991 Unit 1 refueling outage. Nondestructive examinations on the auxiliary spray line have been completed and no relevant indications were found.
In addition, thermocouples he';;; been installed at suitable locations on the auxiliary spray line to monitor for toermal stratification, if you have any qur,stions or require additionalinformation, please contact us.
