VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT, UNIT 3 - ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGE IN VIOLATION NUMBERING

Dear Ms. Coleman:

This letter is to inform you that the numbering for the two White findings and associated notice of violations (NOVs) documented in reports Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 3 and 4 -

NRC Special Inspection Reports 05200025/2021010, 05200026/2021010 and - Preliminary White and Greater Than Green Findings for Unit 3, (Agency Document and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML21236A057); Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 3

- Final Significance Determination of a Preliminary White Finding, a Preliminary Greater Than Green Finding, Notice of Violation, and Assessment Follow-up Letter, NRC Special Inspection Report, 05200025/2021011 (ML21312A412); and Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Unit 3 -

Supplemental Inspection Report 05200025/2022010 and Assessment Follow-up Letter, (ML22108A153) are being re-numbered due to inconsistent violation numbering. Specifically, NOV 05200025/2020010-01, Failure to Promptly Identify and Correct IEEE 384 Cable Separation and Seismic/Structural Nonconformances, is re-numbered to 05200025/2021010-01; and NOV 05200025/2020010-02, Failure to Install Electrical Raceways and Connections in Accordance with Applicable Instructions, Procedures, and Drawings, is re-numbered to 05200025/2021010-02.

Specifically, the changes are as follows:

(1) In report 05200025/2021010, 05200026/2021010, on page 18 of Enclosure 1, the report documents apparent violation 05200025/2020010-01. The number is being corrected to 05200025/2021010-01.

(2) In report 05200025/2021011, on page 2 of Enclosure 1, the report documents violations05200025/2020010-01 and 02. The numbers are being corrected to 05200025/2021010-01 and 02.

(3) In report 05200025/2022010, on page 1 of the Attachment, the report documents violations05200025/2020010-01 and 02. The numbers are being corrected to 05200025/2021010-01 and 02.

The administrative change in violation numbering was to ensure the inspection reports met the requirements of Section 08.04.c of Inspection Manual Chapter 0613, Power Reactor Construction Inspection Reports, dated November 4, 2020. The violation numbering change June 8, 2022 J. Coleman 2 does not change the context, significance, or cross-cutting aspect of the findings; nor does it change the closure status of the two findings as documented in inspection report 05200025/2022010. The three inspection reports listed above are the only documents affected by this change.
