UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-285 OMAHA PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDf1ENT TO FACIL!TY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 41 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 issued to Omaha Public Power District (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of the Fcrt Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1, located in Washington County, Nebraska. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
This amendrent adds Technical Specification requirements for surveilance and testing of a second level under voltage protection system at Fort Calhoun and corrects a typographical error in the definitions section of the Technical Specifications.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comnission's rules and regulations. The Canmission has made acercoriate findings as required by the Act, and the Ccamissicn's rules and regula tions in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the li cense anendaen t. Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendrent dces not involve a significant ha:ards 4
consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amenoment will not result in any significant environmental impact and tnat pursuant to 10 CFR 851.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement, or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepartd in connection with issuance of this amencment.
