HI-STORM FW Amendment 7 Revised Schedule Date: Wednesday, February 23, 2022 6:47:00 AM Attachments: image003.png Denise:

This is to inform you about the revised schedule for HI-STORM FW Amendment 7.

With the change in the application scope for Amendment 7 (ADAMS Accession No. ML22048C221),

the staff has revised the schedule based on the current workload and priority. The schedule would allow the staff to complete and issue a request for additional information (RAI) in May 2022. If Holtec provides sufficient responses to the RAI by August 2022, and a second RAI is not needed, the draft CoC and preliminary safety evaluation report will be submitted to Rulemaking in January 2023.

The staff estimates that completing the safety review of this certificate amendment application will require approximately 1,250 staff review hours and $70,000 of contractual work in criticality and shielding.

Feel free to contact me if you have questions. Thanks.
